Nothing screams summer more than an ooey gooey s’mores. There’s just something about the graham cracker, chocolate and marshmallow combination that makes me feel like a kid again.
My family loves anything s’mores and the Skillet Dip, Ice Cream Bars and Icebox Cake are just a few of their favorites. Since today is National S’mores Day, I’m adding another ooey gooey treat to our collection.
I figured it’s been a while since I’ve shared a skillet cookie and even though I have not felt like turning on the oven much lately, this Flourless Nutella Stuffed S’mores Skillet Cookie was totally worth it.
The soft and chewy cookie dough base has no flour and is made with just 6 simple pantry ingredients:
- Peanut Butter
- Honey
- Eggs
- Baking Soda
- Cinnamon
- Oats
Then come the fun mix-ins that every classic s’mores treat needs!
Chocolate squares and mini marshmallows get folded into the dough and then some more get pressed on top along with an optional sprinkle of crushed graham cracker crumbs.
The best part about this pizookie is definitely the rich Nutella filling. It’s ooey gooey and since the cookie itself isn’t too sweet, the Nutella adds just the right amount of decadence to sweeten things up.
The skillet cookie bakes up with a soft center and nice and crispy edges. Serve it on its own or with a few scoops of ice cream and some hot fudge sauce.
Either way, you’ve got one dreamy dessert perfect for sharing with your friends and family and no campfire required.
